  12.   GIF.svobject update patch
  13.   -------------------------
  14.   This patch is to update GIF.svobject V4.7 (last public version
  15.   as released together with SuperView-Library V15.12) to V4.9.

  17.   You need the original GIF.svobject in either the 68000 or
  18.   68030 version:

  20.      GIF.svobject  (68000)  11412 Bytes
  21.      GIF.svobject  (68030)  11776 Bytes

  23.   Both of which are no longer freely available because of
  24.   licensing restrictions for freely distributable software.

  26.   This patch has only been made available for users of commercial
  27.   distributions of SuperView-Library, which may possibly be
  28.   covered by such a license agreement.

  31.   What does it do ?
  32.   -----------------
  33.   It patches GIF.svobject to a version, which is able to save
  34.   plain files, transparent files, has some bugs fixed and is
  35.   prepared to make use of special powerUP (TM) loadable modules
  36.   (ppc.library).

  39.   How to apply this patch?
  40.   ------------------------
  41.   Use the supplied installer script together with Installer 43.3

  45.    spatch -oGIF.svobject.000 -pGIF_000.pch GIF.svobject
  46.    spatch -oGIF.svobject.030 -pGIF_030.pch GIF.svobject

  48.   (depending on whether the old GIF.svobject is the 68000
  49.    or 68030 version)

  51.   Then copy GIF.svobject.000 or GIF.svobject.030 over the
  52.   one installed as LIBS:svobjects/GIF.svobject
